Description

  • Conduct and support static and dynamic application security testing.
  • Use and maintain automated security scanning tools such as Fortify, X-Ray, and OWASP ZAP.
  • Review security findings to identify actionable vulnerabilities and filter out false positives.
  • Work with software engineers to analyze root causes, support remediation, and verify fixes.
  • Integrate security testing into CI/CD and Git-based development workflows.
  • Strengthen software supply-chain security across development and delivery.
  • Apply secure development and cyber-resilience practices in GitLab, Artifactory, OpenShift, and Kubernetes environments.
  • Contribute to technical reviews, code-review findings, remediation reports, and software testing.
  • Help ensure software meets functional, coding, and security requirements before release.

Requirements

  • Active final DoD Secret clearance required.
  • At least 6 years of experience in cyber resilience, SAST, DAST, and software vulnerability remediation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity.
  • Hands-on experience identifying, evaluating, and resolving application-security vulnerabilities.
  • Experience working directly with software development teams to improve secure delivery.
  • Understanding of secure software development lifecycle practices and software supply-chain security.
  • Ability to explain technical security findings clearly to developers and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Fortify, X-Ray, OWASP ZAP, or comparable scanning tools is preferred.
  • Experience integrating automated security checks into CI/CD workflows is preferred.
  • Experience with GitLab, Artifactory, OpenShift, Kubernetes, or classified/highly regulated environments is preferred.
