Description

  • Design circuits and schematics for test automation platforms.
  • Integrate designs into Anduril’s PDM systems and follow product design release processes.
  • Design and source PCB assemblies ranging from FPGA-based data acquisition boards to MCU interface boards, breakout boards, wiring harnesses, and peripheral modules.
  • Architect and source circuit board test fixtures using internally developed and off-the-shelf data acquisition equipment.
  • Build and maintain an internal library for test circuits and apply DFM/DFT principles.
  • Debug and characterize low-speed interfaces such as I2C, SPI, and CAN, as well as high-speed signals including RF, memory, and USB.
  • Manage requirements, capture custom circuits, and design complex assemblies and harnesses.
  • Collaborate with firmware engineers on board support packages for embedded Linux and MCU RTOS bring-up.
  • Improve automation, throughput, user interfaces, and data analytics for test methods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience, with emphasis on products that have gone to manufacturing.
  • Experience with professional electronics design tools such as Altium, Cadence, or PADs for schematic capture and layout.
  • Experience in PCBA design, including the ability to fabricate your own designs or guide contract manufacturing resources.
  • Strong familiarity with electronics test equipment, including power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, function generators, spectrum analyzers, and data acquisition/measurement sensors.
  • Familiarity with PLM systems and releasing designs for production.
  • Experience using Python or similar scripting tools for configuration and automation tasks.
  • Must currently possess and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with FPGA PCBA platforms, including RTL, design synthesis, and bare-metal coding, preferred.
  • Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field preferred.
