Description

  • Own software solutions that are deployed to customers.
  • Write code to improve products and scale mission capability to more customers.
  • Collaborate across multiple teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality.
  • Create and analyze metrics used for debugging and monitoring.
  • Triage issues, identify root causes of failures, and coordinate next steps.
  • Work with end users to translate needs into features while balancing user experience and engineering constraints.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in the real world.

Requirements

  • Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • Experience working with programming languages such as C++, Rust, or Python.
  • Experience building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysis.
  • Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases.
  • Interest in working on critical software with real-world impact.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25%.
  • Strong background in Physics, Mathematics, and/or Motion Planning to inform modeling and simulation is preferred.
  • 4+ years of professional industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience developing and testing multi-agent autonomous systems in real-world environments is preferred.
  • Experience with feature and algorithm development, including behavior trees, is preferred.
  • Experience developing software and hardware for flight systems and safety-critical functionality is preferred.
  • Experience with distributed communication networks and message standards is preferred.
