Description

  • Work with engineers to package, test, and wire bond custom infrared image sensors in a clean room environment.
  • Handle and test silicon wafers in an automated probe test station.
  • Mount and wire bond image sensors into custom ceramic packages using a wire ball bonder.
  • Perform visual and electrical inspections of fully packaged sensor chip assemblies (SCAs).
  • Install SCAs into a liquid nitrogen high-vacuum test station.
  • Operate custom test equipment and automated tools to collect image data.
  • Perform microelectronics integration, testing, and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Maintain and operate test equipment used in clean room and cryogenic operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with precision test and measurement equipment for development or production hardware.
  • Experience collecting data from devices under test (DUTs) using test and inspection equipment.
  • Experience working with delicate hardware such as microelectronics assemblies and performing ultra-fine motor skill tasks.
  • Willingness to work a 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM standard shift.
  • U.S. Person status is required to access export-controlled data.
  • Prior experience working in a clean room environment is preferred.
  • Experience with microelectronics packaging such as wirebonders and custom imprints is preferred.
  • Experience with electrical cabling assemblies, soldering, crimping, and debug is preferred.
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks and scripting/automation languages such as MATLAB, Python, or LabVIEW is preferred.
