Description

  • Direct Mission Readiness and integrated logistics support activities across programs, including execution, process improvement, technical oversight, and budget monitoring.
  • Build the integrated logistics support function from the ground up on an aggressive timeline.
  • Implement and maintain logistics systems, standards, and data to support accurate and efficient operations.
  • Lead, recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team.
  • Partner with engineering, quality, and program management to align logistics execution with program goals.
  • Develop and implement logistics plans and best practices to ensure timely delivery of logistics program deliverables.
  • Participate with engineering in defining design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research, development, testing, and integration.
  • Support proposals, business plans, work statements, specifications, operating budgets, and contract terms and conditions.
  • Influence contract acquisitions, negotiations, and modifications.
  • Remove obstacles, solve problems, and keep internal and external stakeholders informed through clear communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in DoD/government logistics or progressively complex program administration, including leadership roles in operations, manufacturing engineering, or supply chain.
  • Technical expertise in logistics management principles, concepts, and practices.
  • Strong leadership skills, including organizing, planning, scheduling, and coordinating workloads to meet deadlines and milestones.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to travel as needed for the business.
  • Ability to be local to or relocate to Costa Mesa, CA.
  • Experience with regulatory requirements for DoD or government logistics, preferably related to aircraft (preferred).
  • Experience working with Air Force or other military branch integrated logistics operations (preferred).
  • Government proposal experience (desired).
