Description

  • Define, own, and execute the product portfolio and roadmap for critical core technology products.
  • Lead a cross-functional engineering team across Electrical, Firmware, FPGA, and Test functions.
  • Drive the full hardware product development lifecycle from concept and requirements through sustainment.
  • Oversee architecture, design, development, bring-up, testing, integration, support, and sustainment for high-performance PCBs.
  • Establish and improve product development workflows and best practices across hardware and firmware.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, product management, and customers to define requirements and strategic roadmaps.
  • Manage product schedules, milestones, deliverables, task assignments, and accountability.
  • Ensure scalable deployment of core technology solutions across Anduril.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex board designs in military, automotive, or similar hardware.
  • Experience leading cross-functional hardware and/or embedded systems product development teams from concept to deployment.
  • Proficiency in an HDL language such as VHDL or Verilog.
  • Familiarity with common MCU, CPU, FPGA devices and technologies.
  • Familiarity with standard interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, and USB.
  • Experience in signal integrity and power integrity design.
  • Knowledge of modern analog and digital electronics and electronic circuits.
  • Competence with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, current probes, and test automation.
  • Proficiency with Altium Designer or a similar electronic design automation tool.
  • Familiarity with flight software architectures and development processes for embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with high-reliability designs in aerospace environments and aircraft systems architectures, especially redundant systems.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
  • Understanding of RTOS and embedded software design principles, particularly for flight-critical applications (preferred).
  • Understanding of DO-254, DO-178C, DO-160, and DO-311A (preferred).
  • Understanding of MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, and MIL-STD-461 (preferred).
  • Expertise in computer networking (preferred).
  • Experience implementing enhanced security measures (preferred).
