Description

  • Own end-to-end financial management of production execution, including headcount, cash and working capital, demand planning, standard costing, production attainment, and product margins.
  • Establish transparency into material costs for existing and future products.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Division Finance and Manufacturing teams to own product revenue consolidation, costing models, business case analyses, and decision-making frameworks.
  • Build financial frameworks to evaluate operational decisions across manufacturing and supply chain activities.
  • Perform variance analysis, trend analysis, scenario modeling, and root-cause investigations to identify performance drivers and risks.
  • Support Earned Value Management and help develop and maintain Estimates at Completion and Estimates to Complete for contract integrity.
  • Support tradeoff studies with cross-functional teams to improve sustainable unit economics.
  • Develop complex financial models to assess scenarios and support strategic initiatives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline FP&A activities and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Lead executive-level reporting and present financial insights to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or a technical background in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations is a plus.
  • 3-6 years of experience in manufacturing finance, business unit finance, management consulting, investment banking, or a similar field.
  • Strong understanding of financial and accounting concepts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
  • Strong analytical aptitude and comfort solving problems quantitatively.
  • Ability to execute analyses quickly in Excel and translate findings for business partners.
  • Willingness to learn corporate systems such as Salesforce, Coupa, and Anaplan, as well as analytics/dashboarding tools such as Palantir Foundry.
  • Comfort communicating broadly, including presenting work to large groups and senior leadership.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
