Description

  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company objectives and growth targets.
  • Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and analysis to executive leadership and investors.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, tax requirements, accounting standards such as IFRS, and relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support smooth operations and sustainable growth.
  • Develop financial models and analyses to identify key business metrics, growth opportunities, risks, and profitability drivers.
  • Track financial KPIs such as revenue, margins, and customer acquisition costs.
  • Manage investor relations and provide regular updates on financial performance.
  • Lead, build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
  • Improve finance tools and processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with product, operations, marketing, and sales teams to provide financial insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in finance, including at least 4 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience in the fintech or payments industry is preferred.
  • Strong experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven track record of managing and scaling financial operations in a fast-growing startup environment.
  • Experience working across multiple countries, including financial consolidation, currency management, and local tax laws.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles such as IFRS, tax regulations, and financial compliance relevant to payments and fintech.
  • Experience with financial management software, ERP systems, and accounting tools such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA or Master's in Finance is preferred.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
