Description

  • Own end-to-end financial modeling for retailer partnerships, including pricing strategies, incentive structures, unit economics, and ROI analyses.
  • Partner with Retail Partnerships and Deal Desk to translate strategy into financial outcomes and support negotiations with data-driven recommendations.
  • Build and maintain driver-based forecasts for a portfolio of retailer deals and track performance against plan.
  • Establish KPIs and surface insights that improve margin, payback, and overall deal performance.
  • Design and standardize scalable templates, playbooks, and dashboards for diligence, approvals, and post-close performance management.
  • Create executive-ready models, memos, and presentations that turn complex analyses into clear recommendations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Science, Accounting, Revenue Operations, and Legal to ensure operational feasibility and accurate financial treatment.
  • Guide decisions on complex commercial deals by bringing structure to ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Management Consulting supporting commercial deals or growth initiatives in technology, e-commerce, marketplace, logistics, or retail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related quantitative field.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including driver-based models, cohort and retention analysis, and scenario/sensitivity analysis.
  • Proficiency in SQL for self-serve analysis and experience with a BI tool such as Looker or Tableau.
  • Demonstrated experience evaluating or structuring commercial partnerships or contracts, including pricing, unit economics, and ROI modeling.
  • Experience presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience with marketplace or retailer/CPG partnerships and multi-sided platform economics.
  • Preferred hands-on collaboration with Sales/Partnerships and Legal on deal terms such as volume commitments, incentives, and performance SLAs.
  • Preferred familiarity with revenue recognition concepts such as ASC 606 and how contract structures affect financial treatment.
  • Preferred experience building dashboards in Looker or Tableau and automating workflows with SQL or Python.
  • MBA, CFA, or CPA is preferred.

  • Base salary range of $152,000-$160,500 in CA, NY, CT, and NJ.
  • Base salary range of $146,000-$154,000 in WA.
  • Base salary range of $140,000-$147,500 in OR, DE, ME, MA, MD, NH, RI, VT, DC, PA, VA, CO, TX, IL, and HI.
  • Base salary range of $127,000-$134,000 in all other states.
  • Eligibility for a new hire equity grant.
  • Eligibility for annual refresh equity grants.
