Description

  • Execute environmental tests including thermal, dynamic, corrosion, and ingress testing.
  • Program test controllers such as WATLOW F4s.
  • Run dynamic tests using electrodynamic shaker table control software.
  • Set up and maintain data acquisition systems for environmental testing.
  • Maintain lab spaces with a high level of organization and professionalism.
  • Promote lab safety training and processes, with safety as the top priority.
  • Support maintenance of capital equipment including environmental chambers, electrodynamic shakers, and data acquisition equipment.
  • Advance environmental testing training materials and keep technical documentation updated.
  • Travel to test sites and remote labs as needed.
  • Help lead a team of technicians and manage large amounts of capital equipment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in an engineering technician capacity or similar.
  • Familiarity with Jira or other agile development software.
  • Experience running environmental test equipment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding, and flexible team environment.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
  • Familiarity with NI data acquisition system setup and collection, and with LabVIEW and Flexlogger software (preferred).
  • Familiarity with VibrationVIEW and ObserVIEW software for executing and processing dynamic tests (preferred).
  • Demonstrated drive and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams (preferred).
