Description

  • Own the roadmap for Oklo’s Idaho Falls test facility.
  • Develop and maintain test planning, execution, and reporting processes that meet technical, regulatory, and safety requirements.
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams of engineers and technicians to deliver tests on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to define test objectives, acceptance criteria, and instrumentation strategies.
  • Lead procurement and integration of major test equipment.
  • Ensure data quality, traceability, and configuration control across all test results and supporting artifacts.
  • Build strong interfaces with safety, licensing, and regulatory teams to produce defensible test results.
  • Mentor and grow a high-performing test engineering team.
  • Support continuous improvement of test programs, infrastructure, and operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, nuclear, electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in test engineering with increasing leadership or management responsibility.
  • Experience developing and executing test programs in highly regulated industries such as nuclear, aerospace, or defense.
  • Familiarity with instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and facility operations.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering complex test programs.
  • Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant engineering field is preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting regulatory submittals with test data is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Siemens Teamcenter or other PLM/requirements traceability tools is preferred.
  • Must be willing to relocate to Idaho Falls, or travel up to 25% if working remotely.
  • Must be eligible for U.S. export control requirements as a U.S. person.
