Description

  • Develop detailed test plans for thermal-hydraulic testing in alignment with applicable quality standards.
  • Set up, execute, monitor, and troubleshoot hands-on experiments to ensure accurate and efficient test results.
  • Compile, analyze, and communicate test data in clear reports that identify performance outcomes and risks.
  • Manage test procurement activities, including coordinating with suppliers and sourcing tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Oversee testing projects from initiation through completion while maintaining timelines, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate test activities and drive project success.
  • Support test setup, data collection, and analysis using thermal hydraulic equipment and testing methodologies.
  • Maintain compliance with quality and regulatory requirements in highly controlled industries.
  • Lead multiple test activities simultaneously with strong organization and ownership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as nuclear, mechanical, or aerospace engineering.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on test engineering experience, preferably in a highly regulated industry environment.
  • 5+ years of dedicated testing experience in regulated industries is preferred.
  • Experience with thermal hydraulic equipment and testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code.
  • Experience with instrumentation, data acquisition, and control methods is preferred.
  • Familiarity with NQA-1 test control requirements is preferred.
  • Experience in nuclear or aerospace industries is preferred.
  • Ability to lift, move, and position objects up to 30 lbs.
  • A driver's license and ability to operate motor vehicles and machinery.
  • Ability to work onsite in Idaho Falls and travel up to 10%.
