Description

  • Lead compensation programs and projects, including job architecture implementation, to support scaling People infrastructure.
  • Guide People Business Partners and leadership through annual and mid-year compensation planning cycles.
  • Design, implement, and manage salary structures, incentive plans, and equity compensation programs aligned to organizational strategy and market trends.
  • Lead job evaluation processes, conduct market pricing analyses, and maintain internal equity and external competitiveness across job families and levels.
  • Partner with leadership and HR teams to resolve complex compensation issues and support strategic decision-making.
  • Support compensation issue navigation, calibration sessions, compensation data analysis, and creation of training materials for managers and employees.
  • Lead change management and communications for compensation practices across managers, employees, and the People team.
  • Build strong partnerships with HROps, People Business Partners, Talent, Payroll, Legal, Stock, Finance, Accounting, and third-party vendors.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in compensation roles.
  • Experience with job architecture, leveling guides, and market analytics.
  • Experience working with internal stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and trends into insights and recommendations.
  • Proven ability to track, prioritize, and deliver multiple projects in a fast-moving operational environment.
  • Passion for educating, mentoring, and teaching partners about compensation strategy and business impact.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to access requirements for U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
  • Preferred: experience in a high-growth, hyper-scaling startup building compensation programs from the ground up.
  • Preferred: experience leading compensation initiatives through mergers and acquisitions, IPO readiness, and stock grant reporting.
