Description

  • Manage complex end-to-end employee exits across multiple international jurisdictions with minimal supervision.
  • Advise clients on terminations, resignations, transfers, employment contracts, and redundancy processes while ensuring legal compliance.
  • Lead client and employee meetings related to workforce reductions, hearings, negotiations, separations, settlements, and termination outcomes.
  • Influence and negotiate outcomes in complex termination cases involving multiple stakeholders with competing interests.
  • Coordinate offboarding compliance and audits with internal and external stakeholders, including payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, and trade unions.
  • Draft, tailor, and administer termination and supporting documents while maintaining strict privacy and confidentiality standards.
  • Process offboarding cases in the internal HRIS platform and coordinate with teams such as Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Attendance.
  • Provide first-level employee relations support, including preliminary assessments of workplace concerns and guidance on progressive discipline and documentation.
  • Track ongoing employee relations cases and ensure timely follow-up with relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, automation, product development, and customer/employee experience enhancements across offboarding and employee relations workflows.

Requirements

  • Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with exposure across the employee lifecycle.
  • Proven experience independently managing voluntary and involuntary exits with legal compliance and sensitivity.
  • Experience providing HR advice on employment laws and regulations across various jurisdictions.
  • Understanding of employee relations principles, progressive discipline approaches, and workplace investigation fundamentals.
  • Ability to interpret and apply industrial instruments and analyze complex HR issues to recommend practical solutions.
  • Strong communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
  • Business-level advanced proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote, international environment and manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Demonstrated automation and AI capabilities and AI fluency.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, labour relations, or employment law are considered a plus.
