Description

  • Manage complex end-to-end employee exits across multiple international jurisdictions with minimal supervision.
  • Provide guidance on termination, resignation, transfer, contracts, and redundancy processes while ensuring legal compliance.
  • Lead and facilitate client and employee meetings for workforce reduction consultations, hearings, negotiations, and termination outcomes.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders such as payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, and trade unions to support compliant offboarding and audits.
  • Draft, tailor, and administer termination and supplementary documents while maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Process offboarding cases in the internal HRIS platform and coordinate with teams such as Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Attendance.
  • Serve as the first point of informal escalation and mentor more junior team members.
  • Provide first-level employee relations support, including preliminary assessments of workplace concerns and guidance on progressive discipline and documentation.
  • Track ongoing employee relations cases and coordinate timely follow-up with relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, automation, and product or workflow enhancements to improve customer and employee experience.

Requirements

  • Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with generalist HR exposure across the employee lifecycle.
  • Proven experience independently managing voluntary and involuntary exits with sensitivity, care, and legal compliance.
  • Experience providing HR advice and guidance on employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Understanding of employee relations principles, progressive discipline approaches, and workplace investigation fundamentals.
  • Ability to interpret industrial instruments, analyze complex HR issues, and develop practical solutions in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
  • Business-level advanced proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote international environment while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Tech-savvy and able to collaborate asynchronously across various tools and adapt to evolving systems.
  • Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and an appetite for innovation, automation, and AI fluency.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, labour relations, or employment law are considered a plus.
