Description

  • Lead the go-to-market strategy for stablecoin issuance and banking solutions across Africa.
  • Originate and close strategic relationships with banks and enterprises in the financial sector.
  • Own the full deal lifecycle from sourcing opportunities through structuring, negotiation, onboarding, and completion.
  • Build and maintain C-level relationships with institutional clients and decision-makers.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on digital asset implementation, treasury operations, FX settlement, and inter-bank transactions.
  • Act as a market ambassador for Anchorage Digital’s stablecoin solutions and issuance integrations.
  • Gather client insights and market intelligence to inform the product roadmap and business plan.
  • Drive regional growth for the stablecoin business through direct sales and revenue generation.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience managing the full institutional client engagement process.
  • Strong technical understanding of blockchain and digital assets in inter-bank and cross-border payment use cases.
  • Experience with fund flows, settlement mechanics, correspondent banking, and cross-border payment flows.
  • A strong network within Africa’s global banking and financial enterprise ecosystem, especially among decision-makers.
  • Familiarity with current and prospective stablecoin issuers in the region.
  • Understanding of the regional regulatory landscape and key market actors.
  • Excellent communication skills and sales acumen.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Professional fluency in a relevant regional language is highly preferred.
  • Deep expertise in global payments ecosystems, correspondent banking models, enterprise business structures, and regional payment rails is preferred.
