Description

  • Develop strategic and tactical account plans with internal and external teams to achieve sales, engagement, and growth targets.
  • Sell Amwell’s core products and clinical programs within key accounts.
  • Partner with third-party clinical program providers to support account goals, open enrollment, and benefit fairs.
  • Support implementations and ongoing account nurture to ensure strong clinical partner program performance.
  • Lead account presentations, on-site visits, and client-facing meetings.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with payer account teams, ASO employer benefit teams, brokers, consultants, and health plan executives.
  • Use data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring attention.
  • Provide client feedback and recommendations to marketing teams.
  • Create plans to grow existing accounts and expand adoption, awareness, and utilization of Amwell’s offerings.
  • Coordinate with finance, marketing, clinical, product, and executive stakeholders to support account success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 7–10 years of prior experience working with or for health plans.
  • Strong background in working with health plans and employers.
  • Experience selling, managing, and marketing condition management programs is ideal.
  • Experience selling technology products or related services to health plan executives is preferred.
  • Background in account management, marketing, or program management.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly fluid environment.
  • A solid background in healthcare is required.
  • 10–25% travel required.
