Description

  • Lead the design and implementation of modular architecture based on Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
  • Define technical standards, best practices, and coding guidelines together with architects.
  • Collaborate with architects and business analysts to define domain boundaries and integration patterns.
  • Ensure scalability, maintainability, and security across technical solutions.
  • Contribute hands-on coding for proof of concepts and critical components.
  • Support the team in building complex features and resolving technical challenges.
  • Review and optimize existing code to improve performance and maintainability.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to developers to support technical growth and collaboration.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to architectural principles.
  • Act as a bridge between development, architecture, product, and business teams.
  • Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making processes.
  • Oversee the implementation of automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software components.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and propose architecture improvements.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

Requirements

  • Fluent English is required.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in similar senior roles and more than 15 years of total work experience.
  • A degree in systems engineering or a similar field is required.
  • Principal or tech lead level experience is required.
  • Strong technical background and full-stack hands-on development experience.
  • Experience modernizing, optimizing, and upgrading legacy systems.
  • Strong expertise in Domain-Driven Design (DDD), SOLID, Clean Code, BDD, KISS, YAGNI, and modular architecture.
  • Proficiency in micro-frontends, microservices, API design, and event-driven architecture.
  • Solid experience with AWS cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and DevOps best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with React, Kotlin or Java, Quarkus or Spring Boot, and SQL/NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, Atlas MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
  • Experience with reactive programming paradigms and Kafka.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and educational technology ecosystems is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, integration patterns, and security best practices.
  • Metrics-oriented mindset with knowledge of delivery metrics.
  • Proficiency in documentation, UML, C4 modeling, AWS diagrams, data flow, threat modeling, and non-functional requirements.
  • Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding tools.
  • Good spoken, reading, and written English at B2-C1 level.
  • Knowledge of accelerate extreme programming and software craftsmanship principles is a nice to have.
