Description

  • Lead the architecture, development, and administration of ALU’s Salesforce platform across domains.
  • Design and govern integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems such as AWS, Oracle NetSuite, BambooHR, and other platforms.
  • Define and document data models, integration patterns, and API standards for Salesforce-connected systems.
  • Remain an active technical contributor through Salesforce development, configuration, and administration.
  • Oversee security models, roles, permissions, and environment management within Salesforce.
  • Review code, configurations, and vendor deliveries to ensure quality, performance, and alignment with architectural standards.
  • Design scalable integration architectures using APIs, event-driven patterns, or microservices where appropriate.
  • Establish and enforce engineering standards, documentation practices, and architectural decision records.
  • Define version control, Git strategy, CI/CD pipelines, and release management practices across platforms.
  • Mentor engineers and product teams while acting as a technical authority across internal teams and external partners.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of experience in Salesforce platform engineering, enterprise architecture, or technical leadership roles.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer, Application Architect, or System Architect, or similar credentials.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Salesforce development and administration.
  • Proven full-stack development experience at the Lead Architect, Technical Architect, or Principal Engineer level.
  • Strong experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems such as ERP, HR, and cloud platforms.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce data models, security architecture, and performance constraints.
  • Experience designing integration and cloud architectures across AWS or similar environments.
  • Hands-on experience with API design, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure management, Git, and Jira.
  • Ability to set up and manage secure, scalable development environments and automation pipelines.
  • Strong grasp of software architecture, including monolith-to-microservice transitions.
  • Experience working with and holding external vendors accountable.
  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite, BambooHR, or comparable SaaS ERP platforms, preferred.
  • Exposure to event-driven or microservices architectures, preferred.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve engineering productivity and quality, preferred.
  • Remote role with desirable time zone alignment in EMEA.
