Description

  • Deliver product cost forecasts and cost analyses for start-cost projects, including risks and opportunities.
  • Drive product cost management throughout the project and product lifecycle in alignment with strategic cost targets.
  • Break down overall cost targets into product cost requirements at the system and component level.
  • Lead design-to-cost initiatives to develop cost-efficient solutions.
  • Collaborate across commodities and stakeholders to balance quality, delivery, cost, features, and sustainability in design concepts.
  • Act as the voice of the customer for cost, feature, and value trade-offs.
  • Develop and maintain cost models using finance processes and tools to support decision-making.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in cost management practices using benchmarks and digital tools.
  • Promote cost-conscious behaviors by mentoring, coaching, and sharing best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling and cost analysis.
  • Ability to interpret technical data and translate it into financial implications and recommendations.
  • Proven collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional, matrixed environments.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $90,000 to $100,000.
