Description

  • Oversee planning, research, content, and strategy development for complex client efforts.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, external partners, and internal project teams.
  • Own larger projects from process through execution and evaluation.
  • Create team momentum to deliver high-quality work and identify growth opportunities.
  • Anticipate risks, flag issues, and propose solutions to keep work moving forward.
  • Provide direction, feedback, and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Design and implement process improvement efforts in strategic and innovative ways.
  • Prioritize and delegate assignments and responsibilities as needed.
  • Model company values and help influence decisions and drive change.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and new business development, including organic growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in communications, public health, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in communications and/or project management, with health-focused experience preferred.
  • Prior communications firm and/or government or government consulting experience preferred.
  • Ph.D. may substitute for 3 years of required experience with a master’s degree or 4 years with a bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Action-oriented, organized, proactive, and adaptable approach to complex account and team management.
  • Demonstrated track record in building team and client relationships and delivering programs.
  • Broad exposure to strategic communications, marketing, PR, digital strategy, new business development, writing and presentations, media relations, and consultative selling.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to customer service.
  • Must be currently eligible to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
  • Must work within the continental U.S. for the duration of employment, unless required by contract.
  • Ability to work core hours aligned with Eastern Time, unless otherwise approved.
  • Remote workspace must be dedicated, ergonomically appropriate, distraction-free, and supported by reliable internet and a mobile device.
  • Must complete a federal background investigation and may be required to obtain an HHS PIV Badge.
