Description

  • Oversee planning, research, content, and strategy development for complex client efforts.
  • Manage larger projects end to end, including the work, process, and execution quality.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, external partners, and internal project teams.
  • Create momentum across teams to deliver high-quality work and identify growth opportunities.
  • Anticipate risks, flag next steps, and propose solutions to keep work on track.
  • Provide direction, feedback, and mentoring to junior team members.
  • Design and implement process improvement efforts in strategic and innovative ways.
  • Prioritize and delegate assignments as needed across teams and accounts.
  • Model company values and influence decisions to drive change.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and new business or organic growth efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in communications, graphic design, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in communications and/or design roles, with health-focused experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in a communications firm and/or government or government consulting environment preferred.
  • Multimedia and/or video experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with federal accessibility standards for digital products is required.
  • A Ph.D. may substitute for 3 years of required experience with a master’s degree or 4 years with a bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • An action-oriented, organized, proactive, and adaptable approach to managing complex accounts and teams.
  • Demonstrated success building team and client relationships and delivering programs.
  • Broad exposure to strategic communications, marketing, PR, digital strategy, new business development, writing and presentations, media relations, and consultative selling.
  • Current eligibility to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
  • Ability to work core hours aligned with Eastern Time and perform all work within the continental U.S.
  • Ability to maintain a dedicated, ergonomically appropriate remote workspace with reliable internet and a mobile device.
  • Completion of a federal background investigation is required, and an HHS PIV badge may also be required.
