Description

  • Make regular personal sales calls to an established base of dealer accounts.
  • Maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales call and travel schedules.
  • Work with accounts to manage Alpinestars inventory effectively.
  • Support merchandising efforts, including seasonal POP updates and custom POP needs.
  • Create merchandising and product assortment plans for existing and new accounts.
  • Identify and pursue prospective customers and business opportunities within the territory.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships to grow profitable sales.
  • Introduce products, demonstrate them, and provide ongoing training to account staff.
  • Report competitive conditions and market feedback.
  • Develop sales forecasts and maintain productive relationships with internal sales and support teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales or a closely related field, or equivalent combined education and on-the-job experience.
  • Three years of relevant sales and/or Powersports industry experience.
  • Prior knowledge of technical motorcycle products.
  • Motorcycle riding experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including sales presentations.
  • Ability to develop strong interpersonal working relationships and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
  • Proficiency with a personal computer and strong aptitude for technical applications.
  • Experience with ADP Lightspeed or other Powersport dealer management software.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • General knowledge of the Powersports industry, motorcycle safety equipment, and powersports after-sales.
  • Valid driver’s license and proven safe driving record.
  • Responsible, positive, motivated character and strong customer service orientation.
