Description

  • Manage Directed Content Analysts organized into sector-aligned pods.
  • Set, track, and balance team KPIs across quality, relevance, and volume.
  • Coach and develop Analysts through goal setting, feedback, and professional development support.
  • Hire and onboard new Analysts.
  • Partner with Project Managers and Sector Leads to refine research focus, sourcing strategies, and coverage territories.
  • Collaborate with Directed Content leadership and Directors of Research to update coverage goals and align pod capacity.
  • Work with Directed Content Enablement to create and maintain process documentation and knowledge resources.
  • Coordinate with the Director of Contributor Relations to ensure effective Client Contributor coverage.
  • Troubleshoot workflow issues and implement process, systems, and operational improvements.
  • Review and approve expert rates above a fixed threshold while maintaining average expert costs below $300 per call.

Requirements

  • Experience leading and managing teams, including coaching, motivating, and holding people accountable to goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to set performance and professional development goals.
  • Track record of building team culture and support structures that enable strong collective performance.
  • Experience using KPIs and metrics to measure people and process success.
  • Ability to build dashboards and analysis to identify productivity and output trends.
  • Strong process improvement background with a focus on scale and efficiency.
  • Proven problem-solving ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for internal and external stakeholder alignment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with leadership, project managers, and other teams.
  • Data-driven mindset and an entrepreneurial approach to team and process development.
