Description

  • Cold call, prospect, and conduct technical product demonstrations for corporate intelligence departments.
  • Research opportunities and initiate sales conversations with prospective customers.
  • Build relationships with prospects and clients throughout the sales cycle.
  • Manage product trials and work closely with Product Specialists to support client engagement and purchase decisions.
  • Forecast accurately and build the pipeline needed to meet or exceed quota.
  • Close new business deals in a full 360 sales role.
  • Gather and share product feedback from clients and prospects with sales and product teams to improve offerings.

Requirements

  • Experience selling into corporate vertical markets such as Technology, Media and Telecom, Consumer Packaged Goods, Life Sciences, Professional Services, or Energy and Industrials.
  • Experience in SaaS sales, preferably focused on financial information and/or research solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build pipeline, manage a high volume of product trials, and lead complex negotiations.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and the activities that drive consistent target attainment.
  • Ability to uncover business challenges across an organization, from analysts to C-level executives.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data and concepts to non-financial audiences.
  • Comfort communicating virtually via video, by phone, and in writing.
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to ask strong discovery questions.
  • A coachable mindset and openness to feedback and continuous improvement.
  • A hard-working, resilient attitude with initiative, enthusiasm, and commitment.
  • Familiarity with key buyer personas such as Corporate Strategy, Market Intelligence, Business Development, M&A, Investor Relations, and research functions.
