Description

  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced operating system, networking, and identity issues.
  • Act as an escalation point for Level 1 IT support analysts.
  • Investigate recurring incidents, identify root causes, and implement lasting fixes.
  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles for new or unique issues.
  • Improve ticket deflection through self-service resources and better documentation.
  • Contribute to automation efforts that streamline repetitive IT tasks.
  • Monitor support queue trends and proactively escalate signs of broader service degradation.
  • Guide, support, and mentor Level 1 analysts on complex technical issues.
  • Assist with onboarding and peer coaching for newer team members.
  • Lead small IT projects such as device refreshes or office setups.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an IT Support or Help Desk role handling complex technical issues.
  • Deep knowledge of operating systems, networking fundamentals, and identity management.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and make judgment calls within defined IT standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root-cause analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and peer mentoring.
  • Experience leading small IT projects such as office setups or device life cycle management is preferred.
  • Familiarity with enterprise tools such as Okta, Google Workspace, Kandji, or Microsoft Intune is preferred.
  • Scripting or automation experience is preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $60,000 to $75,000 USD.
  • May also be offered equity.
