Description

  • Own the end-to-end sales process for a territory in partnership with a Global Account Pod Leader and Associate Account Executives.
  • Research opportunities and prospect into target accounts across Corporate Strategy, Competitive Intelligence, Business Development, Investor Relations, and related functions.
  • Initiate sales conversations, build relationships, conduct demos, and manage product trials.
  • Close new business deals and contribute to a larger team quota.
  • Partner with SDRs to create prospecting plans and drive pipeline growth.
  • Forecast accurately and build the pipeline needed to meet or exceed quota.
  • Work with Product Specialists during trials to support client engagement and purchase decisions.
  • Coordinate with Account Management to support customer health and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Gather and share product feedback from clients and prospects with sales and product teams.

Requirements

  • Strong track record of success in an SDR program, SaaS sales, or another sales environment.
  • Experience selling SaaS or non-SaaS products, with the ability to understand a customer’s sales cycle.
  • Ability to explain complex financial data and concepts to a non-financial audience.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills for presenting value to stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Demonstrated drive, tenacity, and a never-give-up attitude.
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to ask strong questions and uncover business challenges.
  • Coachability and openness to feedback, with a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work creatively and persistently in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Experience building pipeline through self-generated efforts, with support from SDR and marketing teams preferred.
  • Interest in advancing through training and development programs at AlphaSense preferred.

  • Base compensation of $80,000 to $106,000 USD.
