Description

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across the life sciences value chain by providing insight-led guidance on competitive, market, and scientific intelligence.
  • Engage with multiple stakeholder groups within pharma, biotech, medtech, and CRO/CDMO organizations to align AlphaSense with their strategic objectives.
  • Conduct rigorous pre-call research to tailor conversations and establish credibility with domain experts.
  • Lead executive-level presentations and on-site workshops that connect AlphaSense’s capabilities to high-value use cases.
  • Develop and present quantified business cases that connect AlphaSense adoption to measurable improvements.
  • Represent AlphaSense at major industry events, including BIO and HLTH, through live demonstrations, discussions, and networking.
  • Orchestrate complex sales cycles across regional and global teams, including multi-threaded decision-making, procurement, and legal review.
  • Collaborate with Product Specialists and Customer Success to design and execute proof-of-concept trials and onboarding strategies.
  • Build executive credibility quickly and sustain strategic relationships across R&D, commercial, and corporate functions.

Requirements

  • Experience selling with six- and seven-figure ACV wins.
  • Preferably experience selling into life sciences organizations, including pharma, biotech, medtech, CROs, or CDMOs.
  • Demonstrated ability to build executive credibility quickly and sustain strategic relationships.
  • Exceptional skills in industry event networking, conferences, and panel participation.
  • Ability to explain complex financial data and concepts to non-financial audiences virtually, by phone, and in writing.
  • Strong work ethic, tenacity, enthusiasm, and commitment to success.
  • Openness to feedback and a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of life sciences personas and key stakeholders in corporate strategy, market intelligence, business development, M&A, investor relations, and research-related functions.
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to uncover business challenges across all levels of a life sciences organization, from analysts to C-level executives.
