Description

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to capture government contracts at the federal, state, and local levels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, contracting officers, and key decision-makers.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and accurately forecast government sales revenue.
  • Lead proposal development efforts and ensure compliance with government regulations and requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to tailor offerings to government customer needs.
  • Monitor government market trends and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies.
  • Drive new business opportunities and develop partnership opportunities within the government sector.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in government contracts sales or business development.
  • Proven success in securing government contracts and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Strong knowledge of government procurement processes, including RFPs, bids, and contracting regulations.
  • Familiarity with government contracting platforms such as SAM.gov and GovWin.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.
