Description

  • Build and maintain the React Native driver app, including QR onboarding and consent flows and GPS/BLE data display.
  • Implement Mapbox GL JS features such as live position overlays, zone and dwell visualization, and realtime map layers.
  • Own frontend performance and reliability for a realtime, sensor-driven user interface.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services in C#/.NET as a secondary part of the role.
  • Support GPS/BLE positioning data ingestion pipelines.
  • Support telemetry ingestion and zone/dwell analytics processing.
  • Work within an actor-model distributed backend built on Microsoft Orleans.
  • Collaborate with a distributed team on frontend and backend delivery.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong experience with React Native for mobile app development.
  • Strong experience with Mapbox GL JS or a comparable mapping/geospatial library such as Leaflet or Google Maps SDK.
  • Working proficiency in C#/.NET, including API design, services, and data pipelines.
  • Comfort working with realtime or streaming data such as WebSockets, telemetry, and sensor data.
  • Strong written and spoken English for daily collaboration with a distributed team.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and actor-model concepts such as Orleans or Akka is preferred.
  • Experience with BLE positioning or beacon technology is preferred.
  • Background in industrial, logistics, or IoT/telemetry domains is preferred.
  • Security-conscious development practices, including authentication and PII handling, are preferred.

Benefits

  • Remote work based in Vietnam.
  • Estimated project duration of 19 weeks.
  • Full-time schedule of 8 hours per day with mandatory availability for at least 4 hours.
  • Freelance / Service Agreement engagement.
  • Hourly rate of $12–$16.
