Description

  • Design, build, and maintain reliable backend services and responsive web applications.
  • Own the full software delivery lifecycle, including technical planning, API design, testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
  • Refactor legacy code, reduce technical debt, and contribute to architectural improvements with the Principal Architect.
  • Create technical documentation, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
  • Design and maintain secure REST APIs and microservices, including reliable system integrations.
  • Provide technical guidance and integration support to cross-functional teams.
  • Make pragmatic decisions balancing scalability, performance, maintainability, and product needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience building and scaling web applications.
  • Strong experience with Symfony and React.js.
  • Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs, microservices, API versioning, and event-driven architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases, data modeling, schema design, query optimization, and caching.
  • Experience writing unit and integration tests and maintaining high code-quality standards.
  • Ability to translate product requirements and customer feedback into scalable technical solutions.
  • Strong ownership, independent problem-solving, delivery accountability, and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, IaC, or GCP is preferred.
  • Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, SAML, GDPR, B2B/SaaS products, billing, entitlement management, or shared design systems is preferred.
