Description

  • Drive weekly sales activity across major accounts at all levels of the customer organization.
  • Ensure predictable renewals of existing contracts and expand current license and product usage.
  • Increase customer adoption and dependency by extending the platform into new business areas.
  • Drive organic expansion through upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
  • Work with management and account team members on territory planning and execution.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and forecasting process accurately and consistently.
  • Partner with Marketing to cultivate, nurture, and develop new business growth within accounts.
  • Work closely with the Customer Success Adoption team on customer success, renewal, and expansion strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by providing consultation, expertise, thought leadership, and responsive support to customers.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of account management experience in a SaaS technology company.
  • Experience working with and expanding large Fortune 500 enterprise customers.
  • Proven track record in consultative solution selling.
  • Proven track record of selling a multi-product suite.
  • Ability to create clear tactical plans that support strategic performance goals.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, curiosity, self-motivation, ambition, and a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial, start-up environment while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
  • Proven experience driving territory growth through upselling existing customers.
  • Proven experience navigating large enterprise organizations through whitespace and customer networking exercises.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and related tools.
  • Solid understanding of social media tools and sales aids such as LinkedIn Navigator and ZoomInfo.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20-40% and support customers across multiple time zones.
  • New logo prospecting experience and familiarity with related prospecting tools (preferred).
  • Industry knowledge in financial services, life sciences, technology, or insurance (preferred).
  • Experience selling revenue enablement, knowledge management, sales engagement, coaching, or learning technologies (preferred).
