Description

  • Develop customized responses to RFPs and RFIs with Business Development, clinical and operational teams.
  • Review sponsor requirements, gather information and document proposal assumptions.
  • Prepare clinical trial costing assumptions and develop CRO budgets using Alimentiv costing tools.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors and site partners to collect and consolidate costing inputs.
  • Prepare Statements of Work, proposal amendments and budget revisions.
  • Coordinate proposal timelines, contributions and deliverables to meet quality standards and submission deadlines.
  • Participate in bid/no-bid discussions, proposal strategy meetings, project hand-offs and occasional bid-defence activities.
  • Maintain proposal documentation and improve Business Development tools, templates and processes.

Requirements

  • Previous experience building clinical trial budgets in a CRO environment.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in proposal development, clinical research, CRO costing, Business Development or a related field.
  • Post-secondary certificate or diploma required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or related discipline preferred.
  • Understanding of clinical trial budgeting, costing processes and proposal development.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, time-management and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
