Description

  • Own and manage a large portfolio of existing customers and retain and grow recurring revenue.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers and understand their business objectives, use cases, and success criteria.
  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Lead account planning and execution that aligns Algolia’s solutions to customer goals.
  • Run commercial conversations including renewals, pricing discussions, and expansion opportunities.
  • Balance a high volume of renewals with expansion work while prioritizing retention of the existing book.
  • Monitor account health, customer usage, and pipeline to identify risks early and drive predictable revenue.
  • Use AI and automation to surface expansion signals, prioritize accounts, and reduce manual work.
  • Operate independently in a fast-changing environment and help create repeatable sales playbooks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve the go-to-market motion and resolve customer needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales or account management with responsibility for renewals and expansion revenue.
  • Proven success in complex, consultative enterprise sales with matrixed organizations and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration skills with Customer Success, Solutions Engineers, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Comfort owning commercial paperwork, pricing, and contract processes at high volume.
  • Background in startup or high-growth environments with the ability to work with limited direction.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of accounts while maintaining attention to detail and prioritization.
  • Experience with SaaS, APIs, or developer-focused products is preferred.
  • Familiarity with usage-based or consumption-based business models is preferred.
  • Background working with eCommerce or digital experience platforms is preferred.
  • Ability to ramp quickly on complex technical products and understand modern web and AI-native applications.
