Description

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to qualify opportunities and develop technical strategies aligned to client business outcomes.
  • Lead technical discovery discussions to uncover customer pain points and translate them into architectural requirements and value maps.
  • Design end-to-end solutions using cloud platforms and the company's security/delivery portfolio.
  • Deliver customized product demonstrations and technical presentations that prove the solution's operational and economic impact.
  • Scope, manage, and execute hands-on Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to validate technical viability and business value.
  • Serve as the technical lead for RFP/RFI responses and proposal development.
  • Build and maintain trusted-advisor relationships with CTOs, DevOps, and infrastructure engineering teams.
  • Partner with sales to position solutions as value-based investments and drive deal progression.

Requirements

  • Fluent business Russian and English (required).
  • 5+ years of relevant B2B pre-sales experience in cloud infrastructure and/or web security.
  • Proven hands-on experience architecting and managing workloads in major cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud); direct experience with GCP and/or IBM Cloud is a significant advantage.
  • Deep expertise with web infrastructure components such as web servers, reverse proxies (Nginx, HAProxy), and load balancers.
  • Comprehensive networking knowledge including OSI model, TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, and SSL/TLS.
  • Strong understanding of server hardware (compute, storage) and virtualization platforms such as VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V.
  • Proficiency with container technologies, orchestration, and familiarity with microservices and serverless architectures.
  • Demonstrated value-selling ability to identify customer needs and articulate business justification for technical investments.
  • Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Presales, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Consulting.
  • Preferred: experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform), automation scripting (Python, Bash), and relevant certifications (e.g., Google Professional Cloud Architect, IBM Cloud Professional Architect, networking certifications).
