Description

  • Design and develop features for the Incident Response product.
  • Build reliable, predictable functionality that performs under emergency-time load and degraded dependencies.
  • Develop across the stack using Python, Django, Next.js, React, Node, and related web technologies.
  • Learn the AlertMedia platform and translate customer workflows into effective product capabilities.
  • Use AI-enabled development tools for coding, problem-solving, documentation, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams in an Agile environment using Git, JIRA, Jenkins, and Slack.
  • Contribute ideas and technical innovation to strengthen the product and platform.
  • Partner with principal engineers and leadership on the architectural evolution of a critical application.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience building scalable web applications; experience with Python, Django, React, and Node is preferred.
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud services is required.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and other storage technologies is required.
  • Experience with Linux-based containers and tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Established practice of writing unit and integration tests.
  • Proficiency with AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, Codex, or similar throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Ability to design production applications for high-pressure scenarios, including failure paths and degraded dependencies.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and spoken English proficiency is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in Mexico without current or future sponsorship.
