Description

  • Design and develop features for the AlertMedia product suite.
  • Build and maintain applications across Python, Elixir, JavaScript, Next.js, React, and related web technologies.
  • Use AI-enabled tools such as Claude and Codex for development, problem-solving, documentation, and productivity.
  • Work in an Agile environment using Git, JIRA, Jenkins, Slack, and related tools.
  • Contribute innovative technology ideas and support the platform’s architectural evolution.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product teams, principal engineers, and leadership.
  • Write clear technical and business communications while managing multiple projects.
  • Learn the AlertMedia platform and contribute to its engineering culture and values.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years of experience building scalable production web applications, preferably with Elixir, Python, Django, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud services is required.
  • Experience with Linux-based containers and tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and other storage technologies is required.
  • Established practice writing unit and integration tests.
  • Active experience using AI-assisted development tools and modern developer platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Strong collaboration, organization, cross-functional communication, and English-language skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects in parallel.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in Mexico without current or future sponsorship.
