Description

  • Build and maintain the Data AI agent to automate data analysis use cases within Aledade.
  • Partner with stakeholders and Product to define requirements, shape work, and influence product strategy and execution.
  • Propose design patterns, create design documents, and develop prototypes for new solutions.
  • Design and implement scalable, performant solutions and maintain code architecture and quality standards.
  • Support data modeling, API maintenance, and metadata governance.
  • Work across disciplines to deliver iterative solutions that reduce manual work and deliver business value.
  • Mentor and coach engineers while fostering a positive team culture.
  • Lead engineering processes and uphold standards that support high-quality engineering.
  • Write user documentation and participate in the full software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • BS/BTech or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of production-level experience building highly scalable systems.
  • 4+ years of experience as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting.
  • 4+ years of experience working with SQL or other database querying languages on large multi-table datasets.
  • Experience architecting, developing, and deploying large-scale distributed systems.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience building continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Strong familiarity with server-side web technologies such as Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, or Go.
  • Experience building highly scalable and reliable infrastructure (preferred).
  • Experience designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes (preferred).
  • Proficiency with both OLTP and OLAP database technologies such as Postgres, Snowflake, or Databricks (preferred).
  • Experience with data modeling; dbt experience is a bonus.
  • Experience building AI agents, including MCP tools, evals, and feedback loops, is a plus.
  • Experience building and maintaining APIs such as REST or GraphQL (preferred).
  • Ability to drive projects and shape work for other engineers.
  • Familiarity with replication and pub-sub technologies such as Kafka (preferred).
  • Experience with performance monitoring and infrastructure optimization, including Kubernetes resource calibration (preferred).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).
  • Experience with security and systems that handle sensitive data (preferred).
