Description

Define and drive technical architecture for QualityOS, including system design, scalability patterns, integration strategies, and build-versus-platform tradeoffs.
Architect and implement complex distributed systems, including mission-critical services, APIs, and tooling for manufacturing quality workflows.
Establish engineering excellence through comprehensive testing, safe deployments, infrastructure as code, observability, and operational rigor.
Collaborate with Platform/Foundations to shape shared infrastructure and drive adoption of platform capabilities.
Partner with other MES product teams to integrate QualityOS into cohesive manufacturing experiences and align on cross-cutting technical concerns.
Represent the quality domain in architecture, security, operations, and infrastructure discussions.
Raise the technical bar through code review, architecture discussions, and shared ownership practices.
Identify systemic technical issues, eliminate single points of failure, and improve automation and tooling to unblock execution.

Requirements

12+ years of experience in a software engineering role building products in fast-paced environments.
Proven ability to influence technical direction across teams and drive architectural consensus.
Experience working with large enterprise applications and platforms with high availability requirements.
Strong full-stack experience with modern web technologies, including JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and frameworks such as Next.js or Remix.
User-focused engineering mindset with the ability to translate user needs into technical solutions.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders and build cross-team alignment.
U.S. Person status is required due to access to export-controlled data.
Familiarity with AWS, TypeScript, and React/Remix is particularly helpful.
Experience in hyper-growth, startup-like environments is preferred.
Manufacturing or quality domain knowledge, including QMS, MES, or incident management platforms, is preferred.
Experience in defense, autonomy, robotics, or mission-critical systems is helpful but not required.
Experience with AI/LLM integration and agentic tooling in production software is preferred.
Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS/SCI clearance is preferred.

US salary range of $220,000 to $330,000.
