Description

  • Serve as the public face of Adapt on conference stages, podcasts, webinars, LinkedIn, and analyst briefings.
  • Clearly position Adapt against competitors by explaining where other tools fall short for real operators.
  • Lead the customer experience for Adapt, including onboarding, customer success, and retention.
  • Build the onboarding and customer success playbook and help establish the operating motion for the team.
  • Work hands-on with beta customers through demos, onboarding sessions, and customer calls.
  • Create and manage a structured feedback loop from customers into product and data science priorities.
  • Hire the first CS/onboarding lead within roughly six months and continue building the team as Adapt scales.
  • Partner with the Chief Economist, Marketing, and Product teams to create and amplify content that supports Adapt's positioning.
  • Draft competitive materials, support customer issues, and perform other player-coach responsibilities during the early stage of the product.

Requirements

  • 7+ years actively pricing real short-term rental inventory.
  • Experience at a property management company with 20+ units, as a revenue management consultant across multiple portfolios, or as a Solutions Consultant or Revenue Manager at a competitor.
  • Ability to speak credibly about competitive differences and specific moments where competitors fell short.
  • Established voice in the short-term rental community, or willingness to build one.
  • Bonus points for an existing LinkedIn following, panel or podcast appearances, or a newsletter or content series.
  • Clear point of view on autonomous pricing and how it differs from better recommendations.
  • Comfort wearing multiple hats early on, including demos, onboarding, support tickets, and competitive one-pagers.
  • Experience thriving with a non-traditional manager such as a founder, GM, Chief Economist, or product leader.
  • Daily use of AI tools such as Claude or GPT for research, content drafts, competitive analysis, or internal tooling.
  • Willingness to travel for 5–10 industry conferences per year plus occasional trips to AirDNA offices in New York, Denver, or Barcelona.
