Description

  • Create the vision and strategy for Trust & Safety products and platforms.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, designers, operations experts, and policy experts to align execution and launches.
  • Maintain the product backlog and roadmap, and own prioritization based on business value and customer impact.
  • Define goals and success metrics using clearly measurable objectives and key results.
  • Build alignment across product teams and leadership teams.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, make tradeoffs, and balance business, customer, technical, and operational needs.
  • Present roadmap updates and product status to Airbnb leadership and business stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Evaluate new product opportunities and propose buy, build, or partner solutions for new capabilities.
  • Develop short-term plans that support long-term goals and build platform capabilities to defend against safety issues.
  • Serve as a thought leader within Airbnb on product and platform development methods.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience.
  • Prior product, operations, or engineering experience in trust, safety, risk, or fraud.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholders, including global C-level executives and technical teams.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience building machine learning products or in technical product management.
  • Experience with design and hypothesis-driven product development.
  • Entrepreneurial drive to achieve stretch goals in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Exceptional collaboration, partnership, and influencing skills across multiple locations and time zones.
  • Experience leading teams through ambiguity and high-stakes tradeoff decisions.
  • US remote eligible, with the requirement to live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $179,000 to $207,000 USD.
  • Potential eligibility for bonus.
  • Potential eligibility for equity.
