Description

  • Develop 3-year growth plans for current and prospective users in each market and build integrated roadmaps, budgets, and measurement plans.
  • Partner with internal creative teams and external agencies to ensure effective resourcing, briefings, contracts, payments, and brand alignment.
  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to develop and deliver the EMEA marketing strategy, balancing global direction with regional opportunities.
  • Advocate for authentic local marketing and adapt campaigns so they feel relevant to each market.
  • Lead end-to-end execution and monitoring of global and local marketing campaigns and scaling efforts.
  • Define business challenges and growth strategies that support both business and brand objectives.
  • Nurture and support a high-performing in-house marketing team.
  • Work cross-functionally with regional business leadership, PR, media, product, performance marketing, customer experience, communications, and policy teams.
  • Help build a new regional brand positioning and story for Airbnb in the region.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in a marketing role, preferably at a fast-paced startup or technology company.
  • Experience working across UKI, Northern Europe and MEA, ideally the wider EMEA region, with deep understanding of the UK consumer.
  • Proven ability to create creative marketing programs that deliver results.
  • Experience with integrated marketing across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify business and consumer levers that drive growth.
  • Experience managing agencies and large multinational internal teams.
  • Strong knowledge of finance and accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, actualizing, and accruing.
  • Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
  • Track record of leading teams, measuring ROI, and being accountable for results.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Appreciation for design and passion for Airbnb.

Benefits

  • Annual base pay range of £122,000 to £152,000 GBP.
  • Eligibility for bonus compensation.
