Description

  • Build and manage partner relationships within an assigned territory.
  • Directly manage accounts to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Analyze data and identify strategic opportunities to drive sales growth.
  • Prospect and onboard new, high-quality supply in the assigned geography.
  • Maintain a working understanding of software partner integrations to support clients.
  • Represent Airbnb in external meetings with professional hosts and at industry conferences.
  • Educate clients on product changes and relay product and policy feedback to internal stakeholders.
  • Stay current on Canadian short-term rental regulations at the federal, provincial, and municipal levels.
  • Hold regular optimization calls and business reviews with partners.
  • Develop deep knowledge of local market trends and act as the go-to source for market information.
  • Provide timely service and occasional in-person support to professional hosts.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, communications, public policy, and customer support teams.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in new sales, account management, and partner support.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Bilingual Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus.
  • 2+ years of tech or travel industry experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage a leads pipeline and a book of business.
  • Strong quantitative skills with the ability to interpret and apply data in day-to-day work.
  • Ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels in ambiguous environments.
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Resourceful self-starter with strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Highly proficient with CRM software; Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Must be based in British Columbia or Alberta, Canada and willing to travel regularly to the assigned territory, typically once per quarter.
  • Passion for Airbnb, travel, and the sharing economy; being an Airbnb host is a plus.

Benefits

  • Annual base pay range of $91,000 to $107,000 CAD.
  • Eligible for bonus.
  • Eligible for equity.
  • Eligible for benefits.
  • Eligible for Employee Travel Credits.
  • Remote eligible within approved Canadian provinces.
  • Occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites may be included.
