Description

  • Design, implement, and execute manual and automated functional, regression, and performance tests.
  • Develop and maintain the testing strategy for the backend API platform.
  • Test mobile network connectivity by interacting with mobile devices.
  • Run functional and end-to-end tests to verify alignment with user stories, acceptance criteria, and design documents.
  • Ensure version releases are delivered with zero critical bugs.
  • Increase the automation ratio by identifying and automating scenarios that are not yet covered.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Designers to share bug reports and improve requirements and test coverage.
  • Track and measure quality metrics and take proactive corrective actions to improve product quality.
  • Evaluate, build, and improve QA roadmap, infrastructure, and testing cycles for end products.
  • Help build and grow a strong and dedicated QA Guild.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of dedicated experience in Quality Assurance (QA).
  • Deep understanding of software testing theory, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience in manual testing across user story acceptance criteria and test cases.
  • Expertise in automated functional, API, and UI testing.
  • Ability to provide realistic estimations for tasks of varying sizes and complexity.
  • Solid understanding of HTTP protocol and WebSocket communication.
  • Understanding of distributed applications and client-server architectures.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as TypeScript, Java, Python, or similar.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Axios, Cucumber, Cypress, Selenium, or RestAssured.
  • Experience in performance testing with tools such as Apache JMeter or Gatling.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues in infrastructure, test environments, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Prior work experience in telecommunications (bonus).
  • Graduate degree in a related field (bonus).
  • Knowledge of eSIM and GSMA-related technologies and services (bonus).
