Description

  • Design, deploy, and operate Azure landing zones and shared services for large enterprise environments.
  • Build and manage Azure platform services including Virtual Machines, VM Scale Sets, AKS, ACR, App Services, Functions, and Azure Automation.
  • Implement resilient and scalable platform designs using availability zones, ASGs, load balancers, and backup and recovery patterns.
  • Apply governance controls such as RBAC, Azure Policy, Blueprints, and management groups across subscriptions and tenants.
  • Assess customer environments using Azure Migrate, perform migration planning and assessments, and create wave plans and server inventories.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, Bicep, and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application workloads using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and similar toolchains.
  • Standardize platform components into reusable modules, pipelines, and patterns for internal developer platforms and self-service provisioning.
  • Collaborate with SRE and operations teams to automate day-2 operations such as patching, scaling, maintenance, and routine changes.
  • Design Azure networking architectures, integrate with on-premises and third-party networks, troubleshoot complex hybrid connectivity issues, and support reliability, observability, and cost optimization efforts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Azure infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure core services including compute, storage, identity, and security.
  • Strong experience with Azure networking, including VNet design, hybrid connectivity, NSGs, firewalls, load balancers, and WAF.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and/or Bicep; Ansible or similar tools is a plus.
  • Practical experience building CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent Git-based workflows.
  • Solid understanding of containers and orchestration, including AKS, container registries, and basic Kubernetes concepts.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Good understanding of cloud security fundamentals, including identity, RBAC, policies, encryption, and networking controls.
  • Proven experience in consulting, platform, DevOps, or cloud engineering roles serving enterprise customers.
  • Strong communication skills for working directly with clients, gathering requirements, and presenting solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • One or more relevant Microsoft Azure certifications are strongly preferred.
