Description

  • Serve as a national cloud security resource supporting opportunities across all AHEAD regions.
  • Partner with sales representatives to strategize and execute technical sales calls.
  • Design, architect, and consult on cloud security solutions for AHEAD clients.
  • Work with delivery leadership to ensure proposed solutions align with AHEAD’s delivery model.
  • Support sales engagements with advice, solutions, and proposals tailored to customer technical and business needs.
  • Prepare pre-sales materials such as configurations, pricing, services, presentations, and justifications.
  • Qualify opportunities based on technical requirements, decision-making process, and funding.
  • Define cloud security strategies and size and design cloud security products for clients.
  • Leverage subject matter experts across AHEAD to scale cloud security effectiveness nationally.
  • Assist in creating design diagrams, bills of materials, proposals, and services proposals for active sales campaigns.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of overall experience in cybersecurity, cloud, or technology consulting, including at least 4 years of hands-on cloud security experience.
  • Prior pre-sales experience with the ability to discuss scope, approach, and pricing with clients.
  • Experience creating cloud security proposals in a pre-sales capacity, such as SOWs, services proposals, or solution designs.
  • Hands-on experience with at least two leading CNAPP platforms such as Palo Alto Prisma Cloud, Wiz, or Upwind.
  • Working knowledge of CNAPP capability areas including CSPM, CWPP, CIEM, KSPM, DSPM, AI-SPM, and container/Kubernetes security.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one hyperscaler: AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus familiarity with the other two.
  • Experience with native cloud security controls such as AWS Security Hub/GuardDuty, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, or Google Security Command Center.
  • Experience designing and presenting cloud security architectures across multiple vendors and public cloud providers.
  • Ability to present effectively to both technical practitioners and C-level executives.
  • Preferred consulting experience at a systems integrator, professional services firm, or advisory practice.
  • Preferred delivery experience implementing or operationalizing cloud security tooling after sale.
  • Working knowledge of IaC security, CI/CD pipeline security, and DevSecOps practices is preferred.
  • Familiarity with IAM concepts such as federated identity, RBAC, and least-privilege design is preferred.
  • Preferred experience scaling cloud security programs in multi-cloud, hybrid, and enterprise environments.
  • Preferred industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, or CISA.
  • Preferred cloud/provider certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, SC-100, or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
  • Preferred vendor certifications or experience with Prisma Cloud, Wiz, Upwind, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Orca Security, or Sysdig.
