Description

  • Lead and develop a team of Procurement Specialists while balancing workload and performance expectations.
  • Manage procurement support across the organization and ensure accurate, timely order processing.
  • Validate orders in Salesforce using customer and vendor quotes.
  • Place equipment orders through vendor portals and tools and troubleshoot order issues, including API-related problems.
  • Ensure follow-up on order confirmations and progression of opportunities to Vendor Accepted status.
  • Support end-of-month, end-of-quarter, and end-of-year procurement activities, including complex or late orders.
  • Support operational close for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end cycles.
  • Address or escalate internal and external customer satisfaction issues as they arise.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new Procurement team members.
  • Identify process improvements and maintain detailed documentation of procurement processes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • 2-5 years of people management experience.
  • 5+ years of IT purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in the VAR/Distribution space.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Salesforce and/or NetSuite experience preferred.
  • Proven people leadership and coaching capability.
  • Deep understanding of the quote-to-cash lifecycle and booking compliance.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, sales-centric environments.
  • Ability to safely perform essential job functions and maintain regular, punctual attendance.
  • Moderate stress environment with the ability to sit continuously, stand occasionally, walk and drive as needed, and perform frequent lifting/carrying up to 100+ lbs as outlined in the physical requirements.
