Description

  • Serve as the primary point of coordination for commission-related questions, disputes, and troubleshooting.
  • Investigate commission issues by reviewing source data, plan logic, transaction history, and reporting outputs.
  • Partner with Regional EVPs, Managing Directors, the Commission team, and Enterprise Data Analytics to resolve discrepancies promptly and professionally.
  • Identify root causes of recurring commission issues and recommend process improvements to reduce future exceptions.
  • Support accurate interpretation of commission plans, crediting rules, and payout logic.
  • Translate stakeholder questions into clear analytical requirements and actionable next steps.
  • Facilitate alignment across teams when issues involve multiple systems, owners, or points of view.
  • Use Salesforce, Power BI, and Xactly or similar tools to analyze commission data and explain outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Validate commission reporting and help ensure consistency between operational systems and downstream reporting.
  • Document business rules, recurring issues, and resolution patterns to improve organizational knowledge.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in commissions, sales operations, revenue operations, finance analytics, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong understanding of sales commissions, crediting concepts, and issue resolution workflows.
  • Experience working with Salesforce, Power BI, and Xactly or similar reporting and analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex data or compensation-related issues across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, mediate, and resolve conflict professionally.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in Excel and general data analysis techniques.
  • Experience in a high-growth, matrixed, or services-led organization (preferred).
  • Experience partnering with executive sales leadership and cross-functional analytics teams (preferred).
  • Exposure to AI tools or automation platforms used to improve business workflows (preferred).
  • Experience documenting business processes, requirements, or data definitions (preferred).
