Description

Provide day-to-day support and monitoring of clients’ cloud-based infrastructure.
Develop automated solutions to monitor and support cloud-based infrastructure.
Configure and tune cloud tools to manage cost, security, and compliance across client environments.
Hold weekly discussions with clients to review open issues, changes, and improvement proposals.
Provide consultation and monthly reports on the status of clients’ cloud-based infrastructure.
Support production operations, software deployment, and cloud workload management.
Identify out-of-scope client requests and escalate them to the delivery manager or sales team when needed.
Proactively communicate concerns, risks, and potential overruns to the project manager.
Own components of complex solutions and lead written deliverables within the area of expertise.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
2 years of relevant operational experience.
Professional-level Google Cloud Platform certification(s).
Experience managing vendors and strong client relationship skills.
Hands-on experience with Cloud Deployment Manager, CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, and Terraform templates.
Experience administering Linux/Unix and Windows systems.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, with expertise in one of them.
Experience with public cloud cost, security, and compliance tools such as CloudCheckr, Cloud Guard, Dome9, Cloud Health, Cloud Prisma, or Cloud Ability.
Expertise with GCP native services such as Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Trace, Cloud VPN, Cloud Identity, Cloud Build, CloudTrail, and App Engine.
Experience with service portals and ticketing systems for incident and change management.
Working knowledge of cloud migrations, cloud networking, and cloud identity.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, technical leadership, and a solid understanding of distributed systems, TCP/IP, and scaling technologies.
Preferred: experience managing GCP workloads in large environments and a strong desire for personal development and learning.
