Description

  • Architect and implement highly available, scalable, performant, maintainable, and resilient systems using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Define and enforce best practices for CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automation.
  • Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve productivity, workflows, and day-to-day engineering work.
  • Design and implement advanced security measures, including identity and access management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead DevOps initiatives.
  • Conduct performance analysis and optimization for complex systems.
  • Lead major infrastructure migrations and upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation.
  • Advise on complex technical issues and support team-level project leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of related experience.
  • Expertise in DevOps principles, practices, and technologies, including AWS and Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems and troubleshooting OS issues.
  • Strong experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Nagios, OpenTelemetry, ELK, or similar tools.
  • Advanced scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or Ruby.
  • Proficiency with AI tools in the software development lifecycle, such as GitHub Copilot or JetBrains AI Assistant.
  • Deep understanding of networking concepts, version control systems such as Git, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD, and containerization/orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Proven experience with security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation schedule.
  • Experience adopting AI to supplement code development, such as Cursor or Copilot.
  • Experience managing and optimizing vector databases for AI/ML, such as PostgreSQL vectordb.
  • AWS certifications.
  • Knowledge of AWS security architecture.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology.
